Michael S. Joyner

Michael was raised in Belgrade, Montana, where he enjoyed outdoor activities and actively participated in various sports. After high School, Michael served four years in the United States Navy and was stationed aboard the USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60) with a home base of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

In 2011, Michael received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Montana State University. In 2016, Michael continued his education and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota. While attending law school, Michael worked as a legal assistant at the LaBine Law Firm. After law school, Michael was employed as an associate attorney at Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm in Dickinson, North Dakota until joining Germolus Knoll & Leibel, LLP, in 2018.

Michael’s practice focuses in the areas of personal injury, real estate, estate planning, family law, oil and gas, and civil litigation.

Michael is licensed to practice in all state courts in North Dakota and Montana, and is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Districts of North Dakota and Montana. Additionally, Michael is admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Courts in North Dakota and Montana.

Michael is a member of the State bar Associations of North Dakota and Montana and is also a member of the American Bar Association as well as the North Dakota Association for Justice.
